Lost or damaged items

If you lose or damage an item that belongs to the library, you may be asked to pay for it.  If you think you have lost an item, inform the library as soon as possible, so that they can freeze any fines that you have accumulated.  You will be asked to fill in a form detailing the lost or damaged item, and library staff will decide whether or not to charge you for it.

Items taken out from the library are your responsibility.  If you are returning an item to the library via Royal Mail, make sure you choose recorded delivery, as you will have to pay for any items lost in transit.
